Dragonfly Stratford

83 Carnarvon Road, Stratford, London E15 4JW

Our Stratford nursery is situated a mere 12-minute walk from Stratford Station or 5 minutes from Maryland Station.

We operate between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, for 50 weeks of the year, excluding bank holidays. The nursery is closed for two weeks during the Christmas and New Year period.

Our nursery is conveniently located and within walking distance of the community it aims to serve and is accessible via an excellent network of public transport facilities including buses, underground and mainline stations, as well as the newly opened Elizabeth line at Stratford and Maryland. Off street parking is also available for dropping off and collection.

We offer an all-inclusive service including meals, snacks and milk. All meals are freshly prepared on the premises by our inhouse chef. We promote healthy eating through our carefully planned, rotating four weekly menu, which changes seasonally. We cater for any special dietary requirements and babies have a personalised menu to support the parent led weaning process.

The large secure garden offers an extensive range of opportunities for outdoor play including a multi-function mountain resort, popular garden play equipment, a mud kitchen as well as an allotment area enabling the children to grow their own fruit and vegetables.

We believe that offering children opportunities beyond the nursery is also a key part of their development as it is important for them to experience the world around them and explore the local community. Our staff frequently organise day trips for the children, including the local library, parks and the farm. Larger trips we have done in the past include to London Zoo, the Cutty Sark and the Olympic Park which we are fortunate to have on our doorstep.

Building a solid and positive partnership with parents is also very important to us and we enjoy involving them whenever we can. Last summer, to mark Dragonfly’s 10-year anniversary, we invited our parents along on a day trip to Old MacDonald’s Farm in Brentwood. The day was a great success and enjoyed by over 100 children, staff and parents in total!
